What Happened to Myspace News?
Myspace News has just not happened! There was a lot of press about the news feature that will be added to myspace and how it could potentially be a Digg killer, but nothing has eventuated. News Corp and Myspace have just done absolutely nothing with this service, letting it just sink into the very background of the Myspace product and drown.
The News service was supposed to be somewhat similar to Google News and many other out there in the market. It has a nice design and it currently functioning but has never been linked in to profiles or advertisements on Myspace.
Once logged in to Myspace in the left hand column in the backend of your user control panel there is a big list of all products and services that Myspace offers and their News section is not even included in the this!
Myspace News has to one of the biggest flops of 2007!

Myspace just wont leave well enough alone,… the new mail sucks and the new 2.0 profiles suck too. There improvments are complete failures. I use myspace now mainly to listen to bands find new bands. the 1.0 was the best it was fast. if you`re on a computer long enough you can see a virus and that was there main reason for making the 2.0 which is slow. and everyone had a playlist on there profile then all of a sudden they were gone, now you can place one on there again but the news just hasnt got out about it ,and the playlist wont start playing right off like it did before it`s slow to start. If they would rewind go back to the old mail and do away with that2.0 profile they might have a chance, but will Myspace be around in 5 years at the rate there going I doubt it. infact I give it two years. Try Mocospace it`s a new way to connect with friends they still havnt got a grip on viruses but they are trying.
