@JohnC Thanks for letting me know about Proximic. Seems like a very interesting concept.

Plus noted about the AdEngage acquisition. I find it a little strange that Technorati would spend a bit of money of AdEngage when it would be easy for their team to replicate the concept. Plus would probably have saved a lot of money!

Thanks for putting together this list. Impressive display of knowledge about the industry, although you forgot to mention the one company which has the innovative technology which could really challenge Adsense, Proximic (http://www.proximic.com).
