Userplane Partners with Channel 4, The CW, Fuel TV and More.

This is something everyone has been reporting about in the last few days. Userplane has partnered with Network and Cable TV Media Companies.
The long and the short of it is that Userplane will be providing online communication software for broadcast and cable station. The deal will bring Userplane’s Webchat, Minichat, and Webmessenger applications to their online communities. The channels involved are Channel 4 (UK), The CW, Fuel TV and the Independent Film Channel (US).
This is what people around the blogosphere have been saying:
- Userplane Partners with Network and Cable TV Media Companies – Allen Stern
- Userplane Partners with TV Sites – Frank Gruber
- Userplane to Power Chat Communities for TV Channels – Blognation Canada
- Userplane Goes the Meebo Route: 4 New Online TV Partners – Kristen Nicole
- Userplane Partners with Network and Cable Companies To Deliver Enhanced Social Networking and Messaging Services – 901am
This is obviously a very good move for Userplane because there is just a lot more money to have in the corporate sectors and especially within large media companies.
I have also been trying to contact Userplane about possibly advertising on Crenk, so if someone from Userplane happens to read this and are interested in advertising here then please get in contact.
