The Oscars iPhone Application

The Academy of Motion Pictures and Arts released for the first time a mobile application where film fans can watch and review the 82th nominees for the Oscars.

The application is quite simple actually, contains all of the 2010 Oscar Nominees (including some insider information about each), trailers available for the categories (including Best Film), “make your pick” section where you can predict your winners and also check world’s statistics about those predictions; and of course the social networking integration for Facebook and twitter.

You can find the application in the App Store or just by searching “The Oscars”. Just in case, the show will take place March 7 and will be hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.

Ready to make your predictions? I wonder if bookies will use the iPhone app to monitor people’s picks.
