Sony E Reader Pocket Edition and Reader Touch Are Official
Sony has released two new eBook readers today which are the Reader Pocket Edition and the Reader Touch Edition. Priced at $199 and $299 respectively, Sony’s new eBook reader duo has been rumored for quite some time now and thanks to a J&R snafu, we even caught the full specs this past Monday.
Leading titles for these readers will be available for purchase on the Sony eBook store from $9.99 to $11.99. Sony has stated that Mac compatibility and wireless eBook downloading a la Kindle are on the horizon.
I still feel that these readers from Sony and others such as the Samsung Pocket eReaders are a long way behind Amazon’s Kindle. The sexiness of the products just arent there!
