Microsoft Office 2010 Box Art

After the big hit made with the release of Windows 7 (and Windows Server 2008 R2), Microsoft is preparing another one with the release of Office 2010; and the box art is looking really good.

CentrumXP.pl (Polish website) revealed the boxes that will be included with four of the six versions that are expected to appear officially in June of 2010.

Here are the specs from each of these:

  • Home and Student: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote
  • Home and Business: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Outlook
  • Professional Academic: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Access
  • Professional: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Access

Additionally, Microsoft will introduce a Microsoft Office Free Version: Word and Excel with restricted functionalities and some advertisements; Starter Edition (this one should be the free version); and Standard Edition.

Microsoft Office 2010 – Public Beta Open

Microsoft Office 2010 has just entered its public Beta phase in the early hours of yesterday morning and is now available for download from the Microsoft website. I suggest you head over there now and get a copy of the anticipated program. Nobody is too sure how long the public Beta will last and I cant see it being too long. Perhaps just a couple of weeks. After all, they don’t need to wait ages for enough people to download it – this is Microsoft!
