It seems as though Steve Jobs’ last project was the iPhone 5. An inside source has been disclosing the details and it all seems understandable.

The iPhone 4S was not a major rework of the iPhone, it was just a tech spec upgrade. Jobs was working on the iPhone 5 which we will probably see at Apple’s next Developer conference.

Sexy new Blackberry Curve models have been announced. There are three new devices – 9350, 9360 and 9370 – the only difference is the connectivity: the 9350 is CDMA-only, 9360 supports GSM and UMTS while 9370 supports both GSM and CDMA.

All of these Blackberry Curve models have a 2.44 inch display, 480×360 pixel screen, an 800 MHz CPU, 512 MB of RAM, and a 5-megapixel camera.

All of these devices will be launched at the end of August in Canada and then the rest of the world in September.

CNN was trying to provide an indepth and immersive news experience and I think they might have pulled it off. The application allows the user to switch between US and international editions and has a huge range of text articles, videos, photos, live video, podcasts and more.

CNN is very late to the party, but they have at least delivered a decent product. The official app is free and is available for download now. The app runs on Android 2.1 and higher.

Mobile handset makers like LG Electronics are moving toward adopting Linux-based MeeGo operating systems after Nokia abandoned it and opened the way for rivals, one of the project’s leaders said. [...]

This week LG Electronics joined a working group to develop a handset version of the software, joining companies like ZTE and China Mobile, Halla said. (Reuters)

MeeGo is really trying to establish themselves in emerging markets, but they are going to have a lot of tough competition with Android. Thus, this LG partnership will be vital for MeeGo’s survival.

AT&T will be shipping the HTC Inspire 4G in February 13. The Inspire 4G will run Android 2.2 when it launches and will be an HSPA+ device that will run at almost 4G speeds when connected up to the AT&T network.

The screen on the HTC Inspire 4G is 4.3 inches and is in a WVGA format. On the back, it has an 8 megapixel camera. The price of the Inspire 4G will be $99.99 on the AT&T network and with that, you also need to sign up for a two year agreement.

Phandroid has released a leaked image of the upcoming LG Optimus 3D mobile.

Though yet to be officially unveiled, the handset is said to boast a 4.3-inch display, dual-core CPU, in particular (and the most exciting part) it will have a glasses-free 3D display – meaning you won’t need to look like an idiot in order to see 3D. The report states that the Optiums 3D will use multi-channel RAM and from the photograph there’s also a front-facing camera.
