It seems as though Steve Jobs’ last project was the iPhone 5. An inside source has been disclosing the details and it all seems understandable.

The iPhone 4S was not a major rework of the iPhone, it was just a tech spec upgrade. Jobs was working on the iPhone 5 which we will probably see at Apple’s next Developer conference.

Apple is getting set to release their iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 products, but it seems Vodafone Germany has accidently released major details.

The new iPhones listed by Vodafone.de include:

• iPhone 4 Black (8GB)
• iPhone 4 White (8GB)
• iPhone 4S Black (16GB, 32GB, 64GB)
• iPhone 4S White (16GB, 32GB, 64GB)

As for that all-new iPhone 5, no reference to this device can be found anywhere on Vodafone’s website.

Vodafone is an Apple partner in a number of territories, and could have listed accurate information on its website prematurely. I guess we’ll all find out for certain tomorrow morning.

Foxconn seem to be pumping out iPhone 5 handsets. Foxconn will be shipping over 30 million iPhone 5 handsets in 2011, thats over 150,000 units per day.

Under terms of Apple’s deal with Foxconn the company will ship 5 million to 6 million iPhone 5 handsets in September, while fourth-quarter shipments will surpass 22 million handsets.

It has been reported that the iPhone 5 will have a 4 inch screen instead of the iPhone 4 with a 3.5 inch screen. I know this isnt huge news, but it is still pretty cool considering Im going to buy an iPhone 5 when it is released.

Most people already know a lot about the upcoming iPhone 5, but there is limited information about the Google Nexus 3.

The Google Nexus 3 isnt expected to be your average Android handset. The Nexus 3 will feature Android 4 software, which is expected to show off an all new user interface for the operating system. It will be very interesting to see if Google can actually ramp of sales of their own handsets, because up until now they have been unable to compete!

The Brazilian government is studying Foxconn’s investment plan, President Dilma Rousseff told reporters during a visit to Beijing, where she is meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao.

“You’ve got an ample range of investments that go from $300 to $400 million to $12 billion over 5 to 6 years in the case of Foxconn,” Rousseff said, speaking of discussions Brazil’s government is having with various technology companies.

“They’re proposing a partnership. They came to us and said we want to invest in Brazil.”

Foxconn has been in discussions about this investment for the past three months and it is expected that something will be finalised very soon.

Does this mean that we will be seeing iPad’s and iPhone’s with made in Brazil writing on the back?

There has been a lot of talk lately about the iPhone 5. We have posted most of the iPhone 5 rumours here. However, this morning some sites are claiming that the iPhone 5 wont be launched until 2012. We already know that WWDC is going to be an all software affair this year, thus no iPhone 5. The WWDC is scheduled for June, but then according to other reports the iPhone 5 will be released in September.

According to Chinese sources, it had been rumored to be announced for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011. iPhone 5, it does not begin to manufacture the parts, the launch seems to be lost in fiscal 2012.

Chinese manufacturing sources tend not to be wrong, thus Im pretty sure we can now expect the iPhone 5 at the beginning of 2012.
