How many times did you picture yourself with a gorgeous girlfriend? And adding the fantasy with a beautiful girl who loves computers? Well, maybe your search is over: Meet Jelena Jensen, pornstar and web developer.

This beautiful 29-year-old woman has an important career in the pornography business (you can check her official site here); and, as many other pornstars, she also has a Twitter account (@jelenajensen). But for surprise to her followers, Jelena admitted recently she’s a web developer with large experience in HTML, JavaScript and PHP.

This story started with a short tweet of her saying “So busy today!!! Working on site stuff and coding…all while booking work in LA the next two months! Work is crazy busy…but that’s GOOD”. And someone who saw the word “code” on her tweet quickly asked her about this.

And she added “Yup…been running my site 100% on my own for 5 1/2 years now and I’m running other girls’ sites now as well! I’m a nerd!”

Yes, this gorgeous girl maintains her and other girl’s web sites for over 5 years.

I do wonder how many geeky “marry me” responses received since this tweet.

Zombie Attack Readiness

Zombies almost always present a clear and present danger. Whether they are the slow moving type or the “running faster than you” type, zombies will definitely throw a wrench into your day. All joking aside, there’s lot of sites where you can devise zombie readiness plans, escape routes, and even some sites where you can buy equipment/weapons to prepare for the zombie apocalypse. The question then becomes…are you ready?

The Zombie Combat Manual outlines the best tactics and strategies to fight the denizens of the underworld. As the undead attack, the book will give you hand to hand combat tips, how to use your surroundings as a weapon, and how best to defend yourself when you run out of bullets. Sounds handy? More than you know.

For just $10, the head of the Zombie Combat Club, Roger Ma penned the book for all of us to follow. The combat club is a key site that outlines zombie readiness, but instead of pouring through the site, the book will gather vital information into chapters that are easy to follow and digest (no pun intended…or was it?).

Take a look at the book or the site, it’ll outline what type of shape you need to be in as well as the anatomy of the zombie in order to make every hit have maximum effect.

Yes girls, the book you’ve been waiting for so long is finally here. The book that will let you know everything you should to get what you’ve always wanted: A geek boy: A Girl’s Guide to Dating a Geek.

Well the book starts with a simple question: “Are you dating a geek?” (if you already bought this book, I’m pretty sure you are in fact dating one); then it takes you to “The Geek Test”, to sense how geeky he actually is.

Besides a geek dictionary (to follow everything he says and not getting lost in the way), you’ll get important tips in “Getting what you want” and “How to exercise your geek”; the perfect gift for your geek, etc etc.

End of the World Using Web Apps

Okay, as if the world were not already filled with stress (stress from work, stress from family, friends, responsibilities, planning, scheduling, etc) we can now add world ending stress and fears to that list. In a world with nuclear attacks are becoming more and more of a reality, people are anxious to blow things up, and people are preparing for Zombie Apocalypse, why not plan a strategy for these fears. You probably got a plan for all the other everyday stress, but now you can make plans to keep yourself safe, or at the very least know what you’re in for with some world ending web apps that I came across while scouring the net.

For starters, nothing says end of the world like a Nuclear Apocalypse and what better way to prepare for one than to know how hard your city will be hit by varying degrees of bombs. Pick your poison with a slider bar offering varying strengths in terms of mega-tons and if you feel really anxious, check out what the impact of an asteroid would be like. Ground Zero II (not a fan of the name personally) is a web app that details for you how much damage would occur if a bomb were to hit your area. I appreciate the extra mile they went to give us the varying degrees of destruction, this allows you to better prepare for total destruction or just severe boils and burns.

If bombs aren’t your cup of tea then perhaps rising seal levels are of more interest. Global Flood Map is great for research on rising sea levels or predicting where you need to live when the polar ice caps melt. Perhaps we’re not headed for a real life Waterworld, but knowing what is safe from a flood is always a good idea should the world end in water.

Dots in dark blue are cities under water if levels rise 4000ft.

As an added bonus, if you’re still fearful that the world will end in a Zombie Apocalypse, then by all means prepare yourself. Even if you don’t, the geek in you know knows they want one.

It’s that time of year again, and perhaps you or someone you know is headed back to school. For those of us who have been there done that, it’s only fair that we try to provide for those returning with the tools to get them ahead, to keep them on top of things.

I’m not talking about books, or rulers, or fancy computers, heck most universities and colleges tie that into their tuition now-a-days, but the little things that make life just a little easier.

Well if you’re reading this tech site, then you’re a Geek. No worries, Geek is the new chic, so embrace it. Thanks to sites like ThinkGeek, the geek in all of us can find something to make us a little happier, if not geekier.

Here are the Top 10 Geek Gifts for the back-to-schooler!

1. Neverlate 7-Day Alarm Clock: Never be late again for your class, your meeting, or your exam.
