MP32Tube it’s another YouTube web app which we can use to upload MP3, WAV or M4V files to YouTube using the images we select to create a video.
Most applications we can use related to YouTube are mostly for downloading videos, downloading only the audio file, etc.; but just a few are focused on the uploading process. MP32Tube fits perfectly for users who want to share music or some audio files using the YouTube engine.
Using this application is also very simple: Upload images (jpg, jpeg, gif and png supported); upload the audio file; edit the video info and create the video.
MP32Tube also offers a secure method for using your YouTube account: All the connections to the account are done through Google’s AuthSub API. Meaning they never have access to your password.
Typing Speed Monitor it’s a Google Chrome extension which records your typing speed. This extension also includes some interesting data about your typing.

I think this tool to be more useful could include some other data about your typing, for example: words we usually mistype, average speed / average mistyping, or even some exercises about how to improve your speed or accuracy.
Gomez is a company that created the “Mobile Readiness Test” which evaluates and rates your site in a mobile environment. The test is incredibly complete and free, but it requires you to use a registration before running the test.
The usability for smart phones has increased enormously in the last few years, making the mobile market a far more lucrative and where, of course, companies keep investing. That’s why offering our web site stable and with a nice presentation in every environment is a key factor.
Gomez test provides a test where we can rate our sites in different factors like:

- Readiness Compliance Test.

As you all know, PDF files are very static documents, and there’s no easy way to edit them, even more if the owner created some restrictions like printing. PDFUnlock! it’s a simple web app which allows us to remove these restrictions for free.

Chad Engle had a simple and useful idea for those in love with the new Twitter design: He created a background template which we can use it to design our own backgrounds with the guarantee that it will fit perfectly in the new Twitter.
This background template includes all the necessary info for you to design the background properly, like the “Twitter container” (where we usually find our timeline with all the tweets), and also the reference for all common resolutions possible. Download it directly from here.
Chad makes an important remark about the new Twitter design “Twitter aligns all backgrounds to the left. Also, you can put elements to the far right but be aware that some users will not see them depending on what monitor/resolution they are running”.
I think Twitter decided this “left design” instead of a central to focus the reading on the left pane.
WordPress is definitely a large community where we can find thousands of sites offering us free and paid themes, making the task of finding the right one a pretty complex one. Theme Finder represents an excellent and free web app from we can easily pick our theme.
One of the coolest features of this web app is the simplicity to use it. In the top we can find all the common search options to find our theme:
- Color.
- Free or paid theme.
- Number of columns.
Soon as we click the option we would like, the themes will be highlighted. Just by clicking on any of them, we’ll be redirected to the theme creator site where we can download it.
This is a great option to find in a simple way the theme we are looking for, unfortunately this finder contains a large majority of paid themes.
AutoDesk announced recently that they will provide a new version for AutoCAD, the most known CAD software available worldwide, which will include support, for the first time, to Mac users but also will be available for iPad and iPhone users.
CAD software is well-known in the professional life for designers, architects and engineers since it provides almost anything they need for a proper 2D or 3D design. AutoDesk in their 18 years existence has been avoiding, surprisingly for some, the Mac world; but fortunately for those professional or just geek AutoCAD lovers, they have new possibilities.
AutoCAD WS, as for Windows, the Mac version will be paid; but for iPad or iPhone users the application will be available for free, with some limitations of course.

Akregator is a news feed reader available for Linux, where we can access our common feeds from a KDE desktop. Even though it was designed for KDE, Akregator is also available from Ubuntu download center making it possible using in Gnome.
If you usually access and use RSS to get the latest news from sites and blogs, you should know that the way we are retrieving the information is crucial for not missing anything important. If we don’t have a simple GUI in the application we are using, probably we just won’t read anything.
Akregator’s simplicity brings the simple features we may need in a RSS reader: organizing feeds in folders, quick preview, full search possibilities, etc.

Songr is a completely free and small application which we can use to search over 16 music engines and directly download files within the app. And even more, we can download YouTube high-quality videos and if we prefer, just extracting and downloading the audio from the video.
