Here at Crenk we have been on Twitter since the start, but we have never really tried to push our Twitter account too much, we just let the growth happen organically. However, Im really wanting to try to build a community around our twitter account. At the moment we are getting very close to 1,500 twitter followers. I know this is nothing compared to Ashton Kutcher, but then again im not a movie star (well at the moment, lol).

Anyways, help us find more Twitter followers! Our account is www.twitter.com/crenk.

Cant Follow Any More People On Twitter, Please Help Us By Following Crenk!

Here at Crenk we use Twitter on a daily basis and really try to interact with our readers. Yesterday we followed our 2,000 account on Twitter and then I noticed after hitting this milestone that we aren’t able to follow any more users. I wasn’t really too sure why this was happening so I posted a quick message on Twitter asking people why I cant follow any more people, and @richmulholland and @Neil_duckett replied to let me know that Twitter has a 10% rule once you reach 2,000.

Therefore if I want to follow more people on Twitter I need my followers to reach at least 1820 followers. Thus, I need your help! Please follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/crenk) and help us spread the word and get other people to follow us also.

Why Not Follow Google On Twitter

It seems these days everyone is starting a twitter account. The newest company who has joined Twitter is Google. If you are keen to follow Google on Twitter then head over to their account. Additionally, if you arent following Crenk on Twitter then why the hell not!

Crenk Reaches 1000 Followers on Twitter!

Here at Crenk we have reached another milestone. Admittedly it isn’t the biggest milestone in the world but oh well. Crenk now has over 1000 followers on Twitter!!

FriendorFollow.com: Who Are You Following on Twitter but Their Not Following You Back

I came across a very interesting Twitter application today that is called FriendorFollow. FriendorFollow allows you to type in your Twitter username and then lets you know who you are following on Twitter, but who’s not following you. The idea is very simple but Im just a huge fan of the design. Check it out!

Is Twitter an Alternative for RSS Readers and Subscriptions?

Currently for Crenk we have been noticing that more and more people are following our feed on Twitter. It has got to a stage now where there are more people adding us on Twitter everyday than subscribing to our RSS feed. Is this saying something? Is Twitter becoming more of an RSS reader for people or are they just following our feed in Twitter because we are fairly active and give actual responses to direct questions?

There has been a lot of talk recently about companies still not adopting new media as much as they should and especially Twitter, but I really cant understand why! Twitter is an amazing network tool for all types of companies and it can actually provide big organisation with an easy way to directly communicate with users. Branding on Twitter is easy to control and even easier to see who has been discussing your brand.

From my point of view I couldn’t live without my RSS reader, simply because I have so many sources of information and I can easily and effectively control and read them. Twitter could never be my RSS reader, but is it some kind of substitute?

Twitter is a microblogging platform that has been really making some strong improvements in the lats year or so. I’m sure there aren’t too many people who don’t currently know about Twitter (that is if your interested in tech). Twitter is basically a huge IM service in which you can only message 140 characters at once, you also able to follow other people and talk with them directly. It is basically a new type of MSN or Yahoo Messenger.

Twitter Counter is a sexy little tool from the guys over at The Next Web Conference. This tool is obviously a mix between Twitter and Feedburner. Twitter Counter shows how many followers you have on your Twitter account, and it does this by putting the number onto a Counter which happens to look very similar to the counter everyone uses for Feedburner.
