Outside Car Airbags: Easpace

I could really use this on my car! If you have Airbags inside the car why not also have them on the outside of the car! This slightly ridiculous-looking concept is called Easpace.

The external airbags may be a silly idea, but we do like the other part of the design: an LED warning system that lets other drivers know when they’re getting too close.

EX: Cool German Trike Concept

Here is the EX. The EX is a very eccentric German designed trike. Nils Ferber has developed this trike that can go up to 19 mph. Steering is done by a special spine-like joint designed especially for this project, attached to the back wheel. The joint senses where you’re shifting your weight, and you turn accordingly.

There are still no plans to put the EX into production. Visit Ferber’s official site on this project to see more details and maybe harrass him into making you one.
