Yandex Market iPhone App Now Available to Download: Shopping Comparison iPhone App

Yandex has just released the Yandex.Market application for the iPhone. Previously we announced the launch of Yandex.Money extending into more countries, but now users can use this iPhone app to shop for products available online.

iPhone owners will be able to search for basic product information, while also being able to search via barcodes. After scanning the product’s barcode number with the phone’s camera, the user can see results for this particular item on the phone’s screen. The Yandex.Market application recognizes about 1.5 million barcode numbers.

Yandex.Market for iPhone is available for download at App Store.

The Ultimate Cost Comparison Chart of US Mobile Cell Phone Plans

Service comparison site BillShrink now offers an informative infographic showing the costs of every carrier’s 500, 1000, and unlimited minute plans, with and without texting and data.

BillShrink’s chart shows the cost per month of having a standard cell or smartphone on Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, or T-Mobile, in the average plan divisions, with extras like a messaging plan and basic or smartphone data. It’s really helpful, but there’s a caveat—no contract purchase is ever a straightforward process. One-time deals, promotions, and slight variations offered on each plan make this chart more of a starting point for your shopping, not a final word.
