In strange news it seems as though Tanks will soon be getting night time invisibility thanks to a cloaking device that masks their infra-red signature.

Developed by BAE Systems, the Adaptiv technology allows vehicles to mimic the temperature of their surroundings.

SeeSaw hits the deadpool! SeeSaw will be closing down on Monday the 2oth of June and its sad to see that the TV VOD aggregation service hasn’t taken off.

Arqiva the owner of SeeSaw explains: “Following a strategic review of its business activities… Arqiva is no longer able to support the service.”

SeeSaw aggregates TV VODs from BBC, Channel 4 and other UK Broadcasters. However, now that each channel has their own SeeSaw equivalent it seems as though users are heading to the individual sites instead of the aggregator.

It seems as though SeeSaw’s technology was greatly below that of the equivalent service in the USA, Hulu. Hulu has been growing very nicely in the USA and its a shame that SeeSaw could copy their success in the UK.

BBC International has just launched their new Asian Business section at: www.bbc.com/asiabusiness. The Asian Business network is apart of the International expansion of the BBC. The Asia Business Index will deliver 24hr Asia-focused business news coverage, exploring the impact of global and pan-regional business issues across the region. Editorial content will also interpret how business issues in the region affect the global economy.

The Asian Business Index will be run by journalists the BBC has recruited from Asia and the UK. Editor Ben Richardson and his team will be based in Singapore, using the BBC network of journalists across Asia to provide localised knowledge from experts on the ground.

Its great to see that the BBC are moving into new areas and it is probably about time they setup partnerships with leading technology sites in the UK and abroad! Hint.. hint.
