Cant Follow Any More People On Twitter, Please Help Us By Following Crenk!

Here at Crenk we use Twitter on a daily basis and really try to interact with our readers. Yesterday we followed our 2,000 account on Twitter and then I noticed after hitting this milestone that we aren’t able to follow any more users. I wasn’t really too sure why this was happening so I posted a quick message on Twitter asking people why I cant follow any more people, and @richmulholland and @Neil_duckett replied to let me know that Twitter has a 10% rule once you reach 2,000.

Therefore if I want to follow more people on Twitter I need my followers to reach at least 1820 followers. Thus, I need your help! Please follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/crenk) and help us spread the word and get other people to follow us also.

Why Not Follow Google On Twitter

It seems these days everyone is starting a twitter account. The newest company who has joined Twitter is Google. If you are keen to follow Google on Twitter then head over to their account. Additionally, if you arent following Crenk on Twitter then why the hell not!

Crenk Reaches 1000 Followers on Twitter!

Yahoo Products Finally Adopt Twitter

Head over to http://twitter.com/yahoo to follow us for 140-character updates on a variety of things Yahoo!. Just five hours in the saddle and we have nearly 200 followers. Welcome!

That said, there are many other Yahoo! Kayne West Has Had His Twitter, Gmail and Myspace Accounts Hacked

There has been lots of news recently about Twitter accounts being hacked from several stars, including Britney Spears. Today there is a new star who has been hacked and he hasnt just lost his Twitter account but also his Gmail and Myspace accounts.

The hackers were responsible for spreading an online rumour – seemingly from Kanye himself – that he was plotting a move into bisexual pr0n movies. “Please I beg you, give me a break!” West wrote on his blog, which appears to be the only arm of his online empire NOT to have been hacked.

Google Updates Their Account Page Layout

Google seems to be making a lot of updates recently in a variety of areas. Last week Google Reader received an update, as well as YouTube videos getting a search tool, but today the change can only be seen when you log in to your Google Account. The change is a basic layout update for everyone’s Google Account.

As you can see from the new design it is a lot cleaner and easier to navigate. Previously, all the items were lined up in a single column down the page, and I for one are really happy they changed it, considering the amount of Google products I use.

How To Create an iTunes U.S. Store Account Without a Credit Card

Over at gHacks they have a great article about how to create an iTunes U.S. account without a credit card.

Here are the basics from the article!

The first thing you do is to download the iTunes software and install it. Once that is done start it and locate the Redeem link in the top right Quick Links menu.

This will load a page with a form that accepts coupons and gift certificates. All you need to is to paste a coupon code into the form and click on Redeem to send it to iTunes. Coupons can be found here or here.

The iTunes software will throw an error message if the gift certificate or coupon is no longer valid. That however is not a problem at all. Return to the homepage by clicking on the home icon in the upper left corner of the iTunes store.

Once the homepage has loaded it is time to create the account. You can do that by clicking on the Sign In button on the upper right corner of the iTunes store. It offers you login possibilities and a button to create a new account. Click on that button.

Click continue on the welcome page and accept the terms and conditions of the iTunes store in the second. This finally leads to the account creation page.

Enter your details on that page and continue to the next and final step of the account creation.

If everything went well you should now see the page where you can select a payment method and enter the address of the account. The payment method has to offer None as one option for this to work. If that is the case choose none. Now you need to enter an US address in the last step to create the account.

The zip code, state and city have to match. Everything else does not. Just select the location of a friend or relative to be on the safe side but it is practically possible to enter any information you like.

The account will be created in the last step and the contents of the US iTunes store are now available.

This is a simple loophole that is now out in the open. Thanks to JohnChow and Techcrunch for letting everyone know about it. Im not even going to try it out now, cause im sure it will be fixed within 24 hours by Feedburner.
