Seesmic Desktop: Twitter Client Worth Using

Yesterday I got my hands on the new Seesmic Desktop application which is a direct competitor to Tweetdeck. The new Seesmic desktop app is simple to use and is a great way to control all of your twitter accounts in one location. Head here to signup for Seesmic Desktop.

Seesmic Desktop includes the following features:

  • Control more than one Twitter account in one location
  • Ability to add more windows for all of your accounts
  • Can see one full Twitter stream for all of your followers on all of your accounts
  • Ability to perform searches within the application
  • Able to store searches that automatically update

If you are a constant Twitter user then you need to check out Seesmic Desktop.

Although Seesmic Desktop is kinda sleek in terms of design as well as the ability to manage multiple accounts, I still find that Tweetdeck is more robust, features wise. The ability to filter tweets, hashtags, and now, integration with Facebook form a huge part of my Twittering experience. Thus, TweetDeck is still the best Twitter client out there, for me.

@Wayne I know Tweetdeck still has a few more features, but at least now there is a race to be the top twitter client of choice.

Looks good. I haven’t yet picked which one to use among the hundreds of twitter apps. Guess I’ll just have to try them all.

Sorry Wayne Cannot agree – much easier to integrate facebook using Seesmic – lets you add comments directly without any faffing around!!!! The fact that I could do this straight away on Seesmic and still trying to find out how 2 months later on Twitter – says it all for me!!!!!
