Marina at Hot For Words Releases Her First Book, But Lack of Substance!

Marina from Hot For Words has just released her new book. It provides a series of words and their origins, but at the same time is also provides just as many photos of her im guessing doing some modeling. Im not really too sure if this is a book or just a mix between a calendar and a down graded version of playboy.

Marina is quickly becoming one of the biggest stars on YouTube while also making a huge amount of appearances on television in the US. It is great to see her doing well and she plays on her look brilliantly. I really do hope she enjoys her success and can actually build on this popularity and provide something of substance, not just be a model with a different angle.

    Steven,

Have you seen the book yet? How do you know it lacks substance?

    Marina certainly does not.

It’s her first published work, and if you’ve seen it and that is your opinion – OK.

If you haven’t seen it, your headline seems like a put-down.

She is published by a major name – Harper-Collins, and the book is gaining national media attention before its release.

I’m waiting to get my preorder copy right now from Amazon and will withhold my opinion until I see it.

@Jody I havent see the book yet. The title was meant as a put-down. The book contains word origins etc, but it also contains half naked pictures of Marina. Im pretty sure they wont be putting this into schools any time soon! Thus lacking substance. Im sure Harper-Collins jumped on the back of this because they knew it was going to sell to a lot of men and women that just want to look at Marina ;) Plus you have to understand she isnt getting on TV because of her word skills. Its cause she is a great looking girl!

    Can I get this right?
1: You’re reviewing a book that you have not seen?
2: You are saying that just because you are “pretty sure they wont (sic) be putting this into schools any time soon” that it inherently lacks substance?

That makes no sense, there are about a million works for both fiction and nonfiction that are not in schools.
