Looking For Some Crenk Feedback

It has been a long time since I tried to get some direct feedback from our readers, so I thought I would send a shout out and see if anyone had any suggestions on what we should be doing here at Crenk.

Recently, we have been focusing on provide reviews, analysis, more information about specific web apps and more. Im looking for suggestions about how we can improve Crenk so that it can be a much better read!

Additionally, if anyone has any ideas about what services we could also add to Crenk, it would be great to hear your thoughts.

Example Ideas:

  • Should focus more on just providing product reviews
  • Should report more on Technology news
  • More articles on analysis
  • Add an invite system which allows readers to get sneak peaks at the newest apps or products on the web
  • Add a Forum
  • Provide more freebies, such as icon sets, wordpress theme, wallpapers and more…

So if you have any ideas at all, it would be great to hear your feedback.

    I personally like in-depth product reviews and 6 month or 12 month follow-ups (or both). It’s nice to read a real product review from someone who actually uses something rather than a paid review, which usually only highlights the positive and better features.

    Not a fan of forums.

    Monthly wallpapers are always a hit.

    @Mike Thanks for the feedback.. Yeh im not too sure about Forums, they never seem to remain active. I think more in-depth product reviews are a great idea, and constand update at 6 months and 12 months would be a great feature! But how can we incorporate that into the site, so that a reader could see all 3 reviews for example?

    I’m all for product reviews, but I’d need the actual product. Not sure what “list” a site or person has to be on to receive, but I’m all for it, I love playing with technology.

    I’ve always been a fan of feature writing, so interesting pieces related to tech is always a draw for me. I’m going to go into podcasting/vidcasting pretty soon, and I plan to incorporate it into my own site, but I’d like to share opportunity with Crenk to incorporate these types of media.

    Anything you give a user, ringtones, wallpapers, etc, are always a hit. Perhaps a contest with a giveaway, or some other nifty attractions to get the community of readers involved. I’m a very community oriented type of guy, so I’m interested to read other comments on this topic posted by you.
