LiveJournal Purchase By SUP (Russian Company)

paidContent have some interesting news this morning and its that LiveJournal has been purchased by Russian company SUP. The pioneering online journal-writing/blogging service which was bought by MovableType parent company SixApart almost three years ago. SUP, which already been running LiveJournal in Russia as part of a licensing agreement, plans to set up a new company in San Francisco to steer LiveJournal here and elsewhere, reports AP.

After this sale what is next for SixApart? They have been rumored as a acquisition candidate, but nothing has actually eventuated from that. Im curious to see if SixApart will now make a strong push for acquisition.
