How to Buy Refurbished Apple Products

Apple products are the hot new electronic items. With the iPod, iPhone and a line of computers it seems everyone wants to get their hands on something Apple touched. Their large stores are fun to spend time looking at all of the new shiny products. However, the price of a new Apple product can scare anyone. Luckily, you can buy a refurbished product for a lot less.

  1. Decide where to buy. Refurbished Apple products are available from a number of online outlets such as eBay.com, amazon.com and smalldog.com. However, you can also easily purchased refurbished from apple.com. This is the most reputable place to buy them because Apple technicians are the ones who are working on the older models. They are putting their stamp of approval on the refurbished computers, so you know you are getting something of quality (see Resources below).
  2. Decide what you want. Refurbished Apple products are a great way to get a deal on new Apple products, but it is also a great way to get some older device you once loved. Shop around and decide what you want. I you don’t want an iPod with video capabilities, look for an older generation. Missed that iBook you loved? Buy it refurbished to get a brand new on without it being new.
  3. Buy from the Apple store. Go to the Apple store’s homepage and scroll down until you find the refurbished section on the left side of the scree. You can choose to browse through refurbished iPods, iPhones or mac computers.
