Google’s Sergey Brin and Larry Page To Sell Of $2.79 Billion in Shares

It has been revealed in a regulatory filing that co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin will sell of some of their company stock. This sell off will result in Brin and Page not having the combined majority vote. 5 million shares will be sold off, which at today’s share price ($550.01) is valued at $2.79 billion.

This sell off will of course provide Brin and Page with a lot more flexibility with their money. However, they can now get outvoted in the boardroom.
