Crenk Has Moved In The 21st Century!
Here at Crenk we have been looking at making a few changes to our theme, but finally it got to the stage where a new makeover was needed.
Crenk is now sporting a complete new design from top to bottom. Crenk even has a new logo, we wanted to go for a design that would stand out and be a little different from the crowd.
Structure
Crenk has moved away from your typical weblog design to be more of a magazine style. Now we have key articles featured on the home page as well as having category navigation in the header bar. Thus, allowing readers to find the articles that matter to them, be it Products, Software, Web or Mobile Apps.
Navigation
As I mentioned above it is now easier to navigate to categories that you are interested in, as well as this we have added Lijit as our search partner. Lijit is the search tool of choice for Crenk and more than 5,000 web publishers.
Participation
Here at Crenk we have two ways users can participate, submitting tips and writing for Crenk. In the sidebar of every page we have our Tips email, in which users, web publishers, and executives can send us their tips on what we should cover here at Crenk.
Secondly, Crenk is currently looking at expanding it’s current writing staff in order to diversify and establish more timely posts in this current boom in the media business. With social networks taking hold at a global level, mobile apps becoming the wave of the future on all major mobile platforms, start-ups making their mark at high level conferences like TechCrunch 50, it’s almost impossible to capture the scope of the industry what what we have.
Overall
Overall, we hope that this new design really helps our readers to navigate and find more useful information here on Crenk. If you have any suggestions or ideas on what you would like to see on Crenk, then please drop us an email or leave a comment on this post.
Thanks, Crenk Team

I’m loving the new design, it’s so much easier to navigate your way through all the useful and informative articles.
It’s a pleasure to read!
I love the redesign and am glad that you decided to keep Lijit as an integral part of it.
If you (or any of your readers) have feedback about the widget’s functionality, feel free to send it my way. I’m tara at lijit dot com.
Additionally, make sure you opt in to Lijit’s new revenue-sharing program. You can do this by logging into your Lijit account and clicking on the registration link. We’re hoping to help blog publishers better monetize their search results!
