Brian Gardner’s Revolutiontwo.com is Down and No Longer Free

I was on Brian Gardner’s new project RevolutionTwo.com and previous there has been a lot of talk about this project, because he was offering free downloads but with paid support. This afternoon I went onto his new site and noticed that you can no longer download the themes for free and that they are now all paid themes. I find this a bit of a weird mood by Brian, is this because he was simply just not making any money from paid support?

I went back onto the site a couple of minutes ago and noticed that the site is now down due to a database error. Is this because it has been hacked or it Brian updating something? Anyone have any tips?

    Site is up here for me – I’d presume was down just for an update, either WP itself or a new plugin. :)

    The site is still down for me also. Im just wondering what the hell is going on over there, cause this has been happening since I wrote this post a little over 2 weeks ago.

    The site is down for me too. Which is sad because I was about to buy the support package. Not sure if I want to buy support if the support site is not going to be around.

    I’m interested in purchasing some of their themes for three WordPress projects I have on the go at the moment, but I haven’t been able to access the site for 24 hours and can’t show my clients their demo sites.

    Hopefully they’re back up and running soon otherwise I may have to go elsewhere.

    Just came across the following Tweet sent yesterday by Brian Gardner, the theme designer/developer:

    “A note to all people trying to access Revolution – I deeply apologize, my dedicated server died and we’re in 911 mode to restore it.”

    @Tim thanks for the update.

    The site is back up and online again.
