Breaking News: CashQuest Sells Out

Selling off blogs seems to be the flavour of the month at present. Is it because Google are punishing Link sales and now paid reviews, and most bloggers know that the majority of their earnings comes from these areas, so they are profiting while the going is good.

This morning there was a buzz around CashQuest because they apparently sold on sitepoint for $15,000 with approx 900 subscribers and $1400 monthly revenue. Thus im sure Mark at 45n5 would say that CashQuest sold a bit low, because 900 subscribers and sale of $15,000 only equates to $16.66 per subscriber, half of what he thinks was normal from previous blog sales.

Another recent blog sale was by Tim Schroeder who has been selling off a few of his smaller blogs, such as Personal Finance Blog which sold on sitepoint for $12,000.

Finally, Xfep mentioned there was 5xmom.com selling on sitepoint, which is currently $10,000 with PR0 and only 200 subscribers. Very impressive.

actually i think they sold low because the networking opportunites from a site like that are worth more, regardless of pr, earnings, etc.
