Borders.co.uk Online Book Store Stops Sales While Finding Buyer

It has been reported by TheNextWeb and BBC that Borders.co.uk the online arm of the well known UK book store has suspended sales on the site as the company looks for a buyer.

Is the last year in the UK we have already lost Woolworths and Zavvi to lack of sales and now it looks like Borders will be going the same way.

In October figures were released that stated that although online retail continued to grow by 7.6% in September year on year, it was the lowest growth recorded.

According to the BBC all orders placed before the suspension will be fulfilled but customers should expect to experience delays.
