Over at RouteNote (the digital music distribution company) we keep getting emails from musicians asking how can they keep their music social networks up-to-date in an easy and efficient way. The answer is here, Artist Data. Artist Data is in essence a music portal in which allows artists to keep control of all their social network profiles in one place and lets them update all these sites similtaniously.

With Artist Data you can update your Myspace, Purevolume, Last.fm, Eventful, Virb, Jambase and more social network profiles already. Additionally, they keep planning on adding more services into the mix like Facebook, Beta Records, Hoooka and others.

Artist Data currently has two profile options, artist profile, or music company profile. The music company profiles allows record labels and other music services to control more than one artist at once across all the social network sites.

Artist Data is such a simple idea that has been done really well. It can save an artist or record label a huge amount of time trying to sort out social network profiles and information.
