Watch Movies At Home The Same Day They Hit Theaters

There is a new startup that aims to provide blockbuster movies in your home the same day as they hit theaters. Called Prima Cinema Inc., is currently in negotiations with the leading studios to provide the service. That’s right, you’d basically have your own movie theater full of the latest blockbusters.

Of course, at the prices being suggested, the audience will be super limited. The service would reportedly run $20,000. And that’s just for the equipment; the movies would run $500 a piece.

Now that makes going to the movie theater for $10 look really cheap!

Still, Prima expects to launch next year and projects a rosy estimate of 250,000 homes within the first five years.
