Reddit Continues To Grab User Base From Lackluster Digg
Digg recently released their version 4, but it has basically tanked! Since the launch of the redesign traffic in the US has declined by 26%. Additionally, traffic from visitors in the U.K. (arguably a smaller market for Digg) declined by 34%.

While Digg are trying to sort out the stablity of the site and add features that users require, Reddit has been gaining Digg users and going from strength to strength.
In the time since Digg launched their version 4, Reddit has increased by 24%. Reddit’s lead developer Christopher Slowe just released an updated traffic numbers for reddit. According to these numbers – which come directly out of Google Analytics Hitwise numbers are completely wrong, is that a surprise!). Overall, traffic to Reddit increased 24% over the last two months (mostly during the month since the Digg relaunch) and these numbers are holding steady.
