cFTP: Open Source Client Orientated FTP Client

If you have ever worked with multiple clients then you understand that sharing files can quickly become complicated.

cFTP is an open source and multi-user PHP application that  enables you to create a repository to send/receive files with multiple clients. Each client/user is limited to see the files uploaded for them which also works as a history of “sent” files.

cFTP has a very clean interface and can be installed with a web-based installer. Additionally, it can be localised to a certain timezone and when displaying images it shows thumbnails to make navigation a lot more efficient.

Since cFTP is open source it also allows users to brand the platform with their own logo.

FTP is becoming a thing of the past. Direct file transfers is the new thing… the way file transfers were was intended to be in the first place [TCP/IP spec]. I use Binfer instead of FTP for data transfer. If you are interested check it out here: http://www.binfer.com
