WordPress Launch New iPhone and iPad Application That Seems a Little Pointless
There are just so many apps that are hitting the app store ready for tomorrow’s iPad launch. WordPress has just announced that they have launched their new WordPress for iPhone 2.4, which is also compatible with the iPad.
Its great to see WordPress getting an iPad compatible version sorted out early, because it took them quite a while to get an iPhone application.
However, I have always found the WordPress iPhone application and now the iPad app a little pointless. I know its great to blog on the go and have fresh information, but with the majority of bloggers these days they are always adding in images and videos into their articles. Adding in other media such as images and videos is quite difficult on both the iPhone and iPad applications. Thus, it is just a pointless application for a huge amount of bloggers out there.

I’m sure there are a few people out there that don’t need images or videos on their posts and for them this might be a quick solution.
I’m glad they have it even if it’s not a popular app.
