Gourmet Library – Gourmet Foods to Your Door
For those of us with a refined pallet, five year old Gouda cheese or limited edition olive oil might be on our minds all the time. But they’re hard to come by – and when you do they’re expensive. However, I’d like to introduce a great web app and social network for fine food lovers.
Gourmet Library is basically a big catalogue for fine foods and drinks ready to be ordered by you and then delivered straight to your door. The foods are broken up into several categories and you can order exact amounts of it by weight or volume depending on what it is.
You can also connect with other members and discuss products they bought. There are also dozens of user reviews for products which you can read before you buy.
The customer service seems really good. Postage is reasonable for most items and if whatever you bought is perishable, they’ll ship it in a cold-pack for you so it’ll still be fresh when you get it.
